  1. Hey Nicole, what a great cause you’re running for and it’s great you can promote The Children’s Society on your blog. I’m so glad you took away some handy tips about intentions from January’s Lucky Things Meet Up. We all had a great time. All the best with the run and training. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Sunita x

  2. Hi, well personally I am not a runner, I like to ride the bike more, sometimes I had to run and I felt that I forced less because of the fact that my legs are stronger ,,, if you want to run The 10k tries to ride the bike at times, that strengthen your legs muscles and give you more resistance and use less body energy.

  3. GREAT Tips! When I was going through my divorce years ago, I got into running when trying to work on my weight. I made my bucket list in the beginning that I wanted badly to be able to do a Half Marathon. It took me 3 years, BUT, I did it. I remember vividly crossing the finish line and crying because it was such a huge accomplishment for me.

Now, my next bucket list item is to do a half marathon at Disneyland (Or DisneyWorld). Ask me though the last time I’ve really ran? UGH. haha. #EatSleepBlogRT

    1. Doing a half-marathon is such a brilliant achievement! I’m not sure if I’d ever be able to run that far…but never say never I guess. I didn’t know they did half-marathons at Disney. I hope you get to do it when you’re ready x
